CAS Cargo being a fully licensed Freight Forwarder will act as the official Shipper and use its export license to process all necessary documentation including any special declarations and permits for particular goods to certain countries.

Bill of lading is your 'receipt of shipment' and is required for customs clearance declaration at your destination port.
COO or Certificate of Origin is endorsed by the Department of Trade to qualify that all goods listed and shipped originated from Indonesia. This document is also required for Customs at destination port.
Packing list/Invoice is the manifest of everything in your shipment showing on a spreadsheet format; Quantity, Code, Material, Description, Price of each item or product group. Totals are shown upon which your import tax and duty will be evaluated by customs.
Insurance Certificate is issued and copy sent to you for reference with the original kept by CAS to process, in the event of a claim. Insurance is included for pre-paid shipments except Personal effects.
Fumigation Certificate is produced by the authorized Fumigation Company and will confirm to the specific instructions we give, which are subject to the wide and varied regulations from country to country.
ETO (Ethylene Oxide) treatment is a requirement in some countries for a range of product which may vary depending on the finish used etc. This process can only be performed under strict supervision by an authorized provider which is coordinated by CAS.
There are many other special declarations and endorsement requirements varying from place to place, which our Customer Services staff will be pleased to explain.
Shipments can be your own Full Container Load (FCL) being a 20' container with a 30 cbm capacity, a 40' container with a 60 cbm capacity or, a 40' HC (High Cube) container with a 70+ cbm capacity. These shipments are usually loaded at CAS premises and sealed after fumigation is completed before delivery to Port.
LCL or Less Container Load shipments are for those clients with shipments of a few cbm not justifying their own container. These shipments will be combined with other similar shipments to make a 'container load' which is loaded at CAS premises and shipped to our Agent in Singapore who will then re-consolidate the various shipments into final destination containers along with other LCL shipments they receive from South East Asian Agents such as ourselves. This reconsolidation time will add one or two weeks onto normal FCL transit times depending on the destination Port. It must be remembered that with CAS your LCL shipment is transported at all times by Container and is not trucked at any point.
For all shipments whether FCL or LCL, clients will receive by email a confirmation of 'Shipped on Board' at each port of loading along the journey with a final email to you, confirming Airway Bill number and tracking number of your documents once dispatched by courier service.
Packing at CAS is of the best standard using a double packing method; Furniture is secured in a carton frame before being wrapped in total by carton roll. No edges, corners or feet are exposed which greatly reduces damage exposure during transportation. Triplex sheet, bubble wrap and foam sheet are used where necessary. Crating is done only using dried wood which has been planed to remove surface mould, spores, bark and dirt. Where possible, triplex sheet is used to reduce the amount of timber. Crates are lined with plastic sheet and polystyrene foam sheet before packed goods are stowed. All crates are made to measure ensuring safety and reducing costs and space.
Our on-site warehouse is fitted with bays which represent 20' container models. These are used to keep your goods safe in one place and once packed can give an idea as to how your shipment is building up, by estimating the available space easily in your numbered bay.
