Frequently Asked Questions
Who are CASBali ?
We are the first western owned and managed Trading Company in Bali with one
of the highest reputations today, having it's own fully lisenced and registered
International Freight Forwarding sister company. (CAS Cargo)
How do I make an Order ?
Once you have selected your goods, you should arrange a loading date and shipping
schedule along with a 50% deposit for the order to commence. The full balance
is required before goods can be released.
What methods of payment does CAS accept ?
You can electronically transfer funds in either, US$, AU$ or Rupiah. You can
also pay by credit card but there is an additional charge of 3%. Remember
that electronic transfers can take up to 7 days to reach our account.
When Using CASBali, do we have to use CAS Cargo ?
Not necessarily, but as we are a Trading company with their own Freight Forwarder,
there are substantial benefits. This allows us to provide the total shipping
solution and track the consignment from buying, quality control, packing,
loading, and shipping to arrival with you. You then have only one company
to contact, saving a great deal of your time. In addition to this, there is
less handling of the goods reducing the likelihood of damage.
When Using the CASBali Air Conditioned car and the services of their
buyers, what happens if I need additional time ?
We provide our services from 1 to 4 days without any additional charges. If
you need more time to complete your buying, this can be arranged on a daily
rate.
What happens if I buy goods from other places and not all through
CASBali ?
All goods purchased will receive the same level of service, whether purchased
with CAS or not. We would consolidate your order as one, providing quality
control, production control, balance payment and collection of goods and one
point of contact.
What happens if any goods are damaged on arrival?
On the rare occasion that this happens, you must send a written report to
CASBali by email, providing photographs. We will then process the claim with
the insurance company on your behalf.
How long does it take from ordering to shipping
This depends on a number of factors such as the quantity of goods, is there
a 20ft or 40ft container to fill or is the shipment less than a container
load (LCL) As a general rule, six to eight weeks (being less for smaller orders)
from the time of receiving the deposit to the delivery of goods.
